Q1. What is DBank Online ?
A. DBank Online is Doha Bank’s Internet Banking service. This service offers a
wide range of online banking services which makes banking accessible anytime
and from anywhere.
Q2. Why should I use DBank Online service?
A. DBank Online offers you the convenience to manage and control your banking
and finances – anytime, anywhere. This service is simple and secure. And its
free. With DBank Online you can access any of the banking services, 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week and throughout the year.
Q3. How much does the service cost?
A. DBank Online is absolutely FREE of charge.
Q4. Who can access this service?
A. All Doha Bank customers can access upon successful registration.
Q5. How do I register?
A. You can register for the service by filling out the application form
available at Doha Bank branches and website. Upon successful registration you
will receive your username and password.
Q6. What is username and password?
A. Username is the Customer Login name given/suggested by you at the time of
filling up the application form. Password: Is a computer generated secret login
code that you will use for accessing DBank Online.
Q7. Where will I receive my username and password?
A. You will collect your PIN Mailer (consisting of username, customer number
and password) from your respective branch after 2 working days from the date of
filling up the application form.
Q8. How can I log into the service?
A. Visit Doha Bank website on www.dohabank.com.qa and click on the “DBank
Online” link available on the top blue bar of Doha Bank Home Page. For logging
into DBank Online use the username, customer number and password available in
your PIN Mailer. Upon first successful login, you will be prompted to change
your password.
Q9. What happens if I forget my password or input incorrect
password?
A. Upon three incorrect login attempts, your service will be blocked. In such a case, Individual customers need to click on ‘Forgot Password – Retail’ link under DBank Online Login. All you need is your ATM Card / PIN and follow the Self-Reset wizard to reset your online banking password. Your new password will be sent to your registered Mobile and e-Mail ID.
Corporate customers need to click on ‘Forgot Password – Corporate’ link which is available on DBank Online login page.
Q10. What are the services available via DBank Online service?

View Date wise transactions, Last 20 transactions & account information.

View 3 months account information in one attempt and up to 1 year old history.

Fund Transfer:
You can transfer funds between:

*Registration required. Forms available in DBank Online – “Request Forms”.
Note: Fund transfer daily limit is restricted to QR 100,000 for options 1&
2. And USD30,000 for option 3.
Utility Bills Payment (Q-Tel / Kahramaa)

Via this service you can settle your Q-Tel bills such as mobile, cable,
internet etc… In order to use this service, your Q-Tel services need to be
registered onto our system which can be done by filling out the “Register for
Utility Bills payment” form available in DBank Online – under “Request” Form”.

You can immediately pay your Kahramaa bill by simply providing your Kahramaa
Electricity number (information available on Kahramaa bill).

page which will given you a virtual tour of the service.

A. Yes, the information on DBank Online is up to date and is accurate as of the
date and time mentioned on the screen.
FAQ (DBank Online Security)
Q1. What are the security features used by DBank Online?
A. We maintain security standards and procedures to help prevent unauthorized
access to confidential information about your account through Doha Bank
Internet Banking. Our web servers are 128bit SSL protected. This means that all
your sessions to and from the bank over the internet are encrypted using a 128
bit key. The 128 bit encryption is the highest form of commercially available
encryption. Doha Bank's systems are protected with Industry standard, strong
perimeter devices which block unauthorized intrusions. Our Infrastructure is
regularly assessed and audited by well-known external security consulting firms
to ensure that our site is secure. In addition, Doha bank has a dedicated team
of highly qualified Internet-Security professionals who are committed on a full
time basis at the bank, to continually monitor the website and Doha Bank
Internet Banking applications for any suspicious or unauthorized activity.
DBank Online also has timed logouts, which means that Internet Banking sessions
will end after some time of inactivity. This protects you in case you forget to
log-out.
Q2. Why am I asked to change my password upon first successful
login?
A. For security reasons, the application coerces you to change your password
when log in for the first time. It also gives you the privilege of choosing the
password of your liking and convenience.
Q3. How can I check if 128-bit encryption is being used?
A. Move a mouse over the 'security lock icon' at the lower right hand corner. A
tool-tip of 'SSL secured (128-bit)' should pop up OR Right-click any text on a
page (not on a graphics object) and select 'Properties'. 'Connection' with 'SSL
3.0, RC4 with 128 bit encryption (High); RSA with 1024' is shown.
Q4. What precautions should I take to avoid unauthorized
access to my accounts online?
A. To avoid unauthorized access to your account(s), you should avoid conducting
any transactions or checking your account balances in an area where Internet
service is available to the public. You should also note the following points
in taking care of your password:

Do not disclose your password to anyone. No one at Doha Bank will ever ask you
to tell them your Internet banking password, ensuring it remains private and
confidential to you. Know everyone who uses the computer and limit unauthorized
access.

Do not allow anyone else to use your password.

Do not write down or record the password without disguising it.

Occasionally change your password facility available in DBANK Online.
